Royal Thai Government Scholarships for August 2023 Intake at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) manages a number of Doctoral and Masterโ€™s level non-binding scholarships provided by the Royal Thai Government (RTG) to qualified candidates with excellent academic qualifications from Thailand and other Asian countries. The scholarships provide an opportunity for students of diverse backgrounds from all countries in Asia to study and conduct research work together in the truly International environment at AIT and to build a good foundation for International understanding among people of Asia.

DAAD Scholarship for August 2023 Intake at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand

DAAD Scholarship at AIT is Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Application Deadline for August 2023 Intake: December 1st, 2022

For this scholarship, applicants need to apply for one of the following programs under the Department of Development and Sustainability, School of Environment, Resources and Development to be eligible for this scholarship. Please select your academic program carefully when applying for the admission AIT system.

  • Development Planning Management and Innovation (DPMI)
  • Gender and Development Studies (GDS)
  • Natural Resources Management (NRM)

AIRI Urban-Rural Sustainability Fellowship 2022-23

AIRI Urban-Rural Sustainability Fellowship 2022-23 is a one-year incubation programme jointly organised by The University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, National Chengchi University, and Asian Institute of Technology. The Fellowship aims to empower and connect thought leaders and exceptional practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region who aspire to be Change Fellows spearheading urban-rural integration and rural sustainability. Change Fellows who have successfully completed the programme will earn a Certificate of Recognition jointly issued by the four universities. They will also be eligible to enter into a competition with innovative proposals that address rural sustainability challenges. There will be a total of four awards (one laureate from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand respectively), each with a seed grant at the value of US$25,000.
