Interns Present Final Research at CGFD

On September 2, 2025, the Center on Gender and Forced Displacement (CGFD) had the pleasure of hosting the final presentations by two interns from the European Masters in Migration program: Ms. Lucia Fernandez Rios (Spain) and Ms. Isabela Velasco Pons (Mexico).
Over the course of July to August 2025, both interns actively contributed to CGFD’s ongoing work, and shared the outcomes of their research and field engagement in their concluding session.
Prof. Paula Banerjee, IDRC Endowed Research Chair Professor and Director of CGFD under the Gender, Development and Sustainability (GDS) Program, warmly welcomed the interns and attentively engaged with their presentations.
Following their talks, valuable feedback was shared by faculty members Dr. Malay Kumar Pramanik, Dr. Indrajit Pal, and Dr. Priya Singh โ€” helping to enrich the learning experience for both interns.
We thank Lucia and Isabela for their contributions and wish them the very best in their future endeavors!
