“REDD+ Rules, Drivers and REDD+ Activities”

On 17 October 2018, Dr.Nophea Sasaki NRM faculty was teaching REDD+ to a group of students from Myanmar’s Forestry University and Staff of WCS who visiting at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
The attendee was 10 students and 1 faculty from Myanmar’s Forestry University, and 3 staffs of WCS. The special lecture started at 10:00 – 12:00.
The topic was “REDD+ Rules, Drivers and REDD+ Activities” that cover:
– Introduction to the Department of Development and Sustainability (DS), and Natural Resources Management (NRM)
– Paris Agreement and SDGs
– REDD+ Rules
– Samples of Drivers and REDD+ Activities
– Achieving Long-term Reductions & Removals
– Exercise for the Participants
