UIS Faculty Member's Mission to China
From June 9–13, 2025, our esteemed faculty member, Prof. Vilas Nitivattananon, from Urban Innovation Sustainability (UIS), was honored as a guest speaker at Chengdu University, China, during the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Sino-Thai Diplomatic Relations.
Honoring the enduring friendship and collaboration between Chinese and Thai institutions, this event showcased decades of cultural and educational exchange while paving the way for future partnerships.
Key activities included inspiring guest lectures, an engaging academic workshop, a municipal exhibition, insightful site visits, and a formal banquet. The celebration culminated in a grand ceremony, attended by H.E. Supachai Jaisamut, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) of Thailand, alongside other distinguished guests.
We look forward to strengthening these meaningful partnerships in the years ahead.
