AITAA Distinguished Alumni Awardee: Interview with Dr. Binda Pandey of GDS

The Gender and Development Studies (GDS) program at Asian Institute of Technology(AIT) takes immense pride in celebrating the achievements of our alumni who continue to create meaningful impact in the field of gender and development. One such alumna is Dr. Binda Pandey, a GDS graduate from 2002, a long-time feminist activist, former Constituent Assembly member of Nepal, and the recent recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) by the AIT Alumni Association (AITAA). We spoke with Dr. Pandey about her journey through the GDS program, her lifelong commitment to gender equality, and how her experiences at AIT continue to shape her work in Nepal and beyond.
